Not That Type of Guy by Sara York
When CIA assassin Aiden Johnson is trapped between a bathroom wall and a hard man, he chooses the hard man, much to his surprise. Aiden doesn’t want to admit he’s gay, but his first stumble into man love leaves him disoriented, searching for answers and desperate to find the truth. He covers his real desires by dating an ultra hot girl, but it’s the guy sitting a few tables away that draws his attention.
Super nice and attractive Doctor Trace Williams is so special he seems like an angel to Aiden. Their first kiss blows Aiden away. That Trace sees into his soul, even when Aiden is trying to hide everything, pisses him off. Aiden needs Trace in his life, but once Trace finds out the truth about Aiden’s job, will they have any part of their relationship left?
What would you do if your lover ripped apart the very foundation of what you believed?
This is my first book by Sara York and I thoroughly enjoyed it, it goes a little fast but with such a well written story I didn't mind. Which is really surprising to me cause that's usually one of my pet peeves, but Ms. York did an absolutely great job of keeping me interested in this story. I couldn't put it down.
Aiden is a CIA assassin for the government, while on a mission he receives a blowjob from a fellow spy to keep their cover which seems to unlock some secret cravings inside him. I actually get why Aiden acts the way he does, it really made sense in this story for me. Then while he's out on a date with his girlfriend (hehe I really thought that was funny don't know why) he sees Dr, Trace and it all goes crazy from there.
Trace is a surgeon who is a really nice guy, he sees Aiden and its wow. They eventually meet and their love story starts, but because of Aiden's job things are strained. The Love story is really well written even the I'm straight to now I'm gay storyline, although I would have liked to know more on how Aiden's mother and coworkers take it, plus the action keeps you reading also and the sex is Hot.
I recommend this book, I just got Ms. York's next book so that review will be coming soon.
