Now this is the second book I've read from this author, I'm not sure if this is a series but I gotta say I love it. I'm usually not a fan of hurried romances but the way this author writes them I don't seem to care I love it. We get Josh who we meet in the first book with Mateo & Riley so we get the picture that he's a woman hopping butch guy whose a government assassin. While on a mission he sees a beautiful man being seriously abused, and his emotions go nuts after saving Mark from his torturers he can't seem to get Mark out of his mind. Josh wants Mark and after he decides that he doesn't care who knows he's gay. I liked this about this story I just did, it's such a sweet, enjoyable story that I feel in love with it. Throw in some drama, some majorly HOT! sex and a interest wolf (which I just bought his story also) and you will love this story also. Very recommended.

Ambush by Clare London (True Colors 2)

Ambush (True Colors, #2)
Sequel to True Colors

Before meeting Zeke Roswell, Miles Winter’s priorities were clear: business, then pleasure. Before Zeke, he wouldn’t have cleared his desk earlier than usual, waiting for his artist lover to share his preparations for his latest gallery exhibit—on bondage. And he certainly wouldn’t have let Zeke try out some of the pieces on him, right there in the middle of his office. If he’d had any choice, that is.

                                                     4.5 STARS

The only thing I didn't like about this story was it was to short, I mean these guys are so intense that I couldn't help thinking about their first book and everything they had went through. This story is HOT! and I mean scorching freakin HOT! I loved it. This is a gotta read especially if you've read the first book this one just makes it even better.

                                                             4.5 STARS

This is book 3 in this series and i gotta say my favorite so far, not only is the sex in this one extremely HOT!!!! but I really liked the storyline, it was different enough that I was caught off guard and thoroughly enjoyed the more in depth of the characters and what was going on inside their heads and hearts. And it kept true to the original plot line of the series without being the same story Loved it!

Add in the pride deeply ingrained in both of them, and learning to compromise is almost as impossible as bringing their people together. I actually flew through reading this book cause I couldn't put it down, it was not only sexy as hell, but a really good story i mean we added some secondary characters that I sooo hope we get to their story. But we also get more about this series and that makes for a great series.

As it starts off with one hell of a sex scene...needed to stop for a glass of ice water....sorry i do mean one HOT sex scene. Daniel is head of a vampire tribe which we get to meet in the first book, he's tough and bossy and I loved him.

Carlton is Alpha of his pack, and extremely bossy in his own rite. These two go through some crazy things to be together but their mates and neither wants to stay away from each other. Throw in some bad guys and some prejudice between vamps and wolves and you get a hilarious and engaging story.

I recommend this story but this series is even better, I can't help it Ms.Glenn stories always entertain me I'm either rolling on the floor laughing, wiping tears, or biting my nails. I like to be entertained and she hasn't disappointed me yet. I love happy endings that's what makes a book worth it for me or one hell of a cliffhanger knowing I'll get another book coming soon. If you love to be entertained read a Stormy Glenn book, because of her I have found other authors that I thoroughly enjoy to read and usually pre order their books.

His Imperfect Mate by Lynn Hagen (Brac Pack #26)

His Imperfect Mate (Brac Pack, #26)
Dudley has been taught that shifters are savage beasts that will sooner tear out a vampire’s throat then mate them. He was also taught that shifters would rather let vampires starve than feed them. When he discovers his father has lied to him his whole life, Dudley starts chasing after his mate.

Sloane Brac has been very patient with Dudley, coaxing the vampire gently into their mating—until Dudley calls a hit down on his head. He feels he can never forgive the man, but then Dudley shows up at his newly purchased home in a panic.

Sloane forgives his vampire and tries to start a new life with him, but Dudley's brothers show up to finish what they started…or so he thinks. Can Sloane convince Dudley that their mating is something sacred to him, or will Dudley run in the other direction when his father comes to exact his revenge against the wolf for claiming his son?

A friend of a friend had the nerve to tell me that she didn't like to read this series because she couldn't keep up with who was who in them. My answer to her was WTF? I love this series and the spinoffs also, each story is individual and unique in some way. How in the world can you not tell whose with whom. I personally like to be entertained and thats what Ms. Hagen's stories do for me, they make me laugh, cry, or bite my nails and thats what I want, I don't want extreme drama where I cry for the entire book I live in the real world I get enough drama in my own family, don't want it in my relaxation which is reading. I want to be transformed to another place where something wonderful and magical can happen. So I told Ms friend of a friend to eff off witha smile  and a wave.

Now back to this book of course I loved it, Dudley better known as D is a cute little clueless vampire that I swear is exactly like me on coffee LOL. He finds that his mate is Sloane a wolf that has his own attitude, D was raised to think all shifters were viscous and killers so he makes some pretty silly mistakes once they get start to try and make it work, throw in a burnt cake, some secondary characters and some rats that wanna take over their house and you get a fun story.

I recommend it, but i think this whole series is awesome! I LOVE IT.

Naughty by Design by Gabrielle Evans (Sexually Awkward #2)

Naughty by Design (Sexually Awkward, #2)
Feeling alternately aggressive and disconnected, Nigel Durbin is having a hard time distinguishing what is real lately. The dangerously sexy shifter who comes to his rescue when his ex threatens him is very real, however, and Nigel just wants to rub all over the guy and purr.

His mate's scent hits Cayson Downs the second he walks into Daylight Café. Instantly, he knows without a doubt that he'd do anything, be anything that Nigel wanted. He'd failed once to protect the people he loved, but he vows not to make the same mistake again.

Of course, nothing is ever that easy. Strange things are happening at the paranormal prison where Cayson works as a guard, the inmates are turning up mysteriously ill, and Nigel's ex won't back off. Can Nigel and Cayson's relationship hold up under the strain? Or will they crash and burn when the truth is revealed?

                                           4.5 STARS

Ms. Evans you are frickin brilliant. OK now that that's outta the way, I gotta say I love this series, I'm loving the sexy, smart nerds there's just something about the ones in this series that is seriously HOT!

Nigel is a designer in the company that he and his friends started that makes custom made sex toys for the paranormal. For the past couple of weeks his kinda boyfriend has been drugging him, once he confronts Drew to break it off, his real mate happens to come to his rescue. Being a Siamese cat shifter he has a really low self esteem so he's dealing with that along with trying to get to know his new mate.

Cayson is a doberman shifter, yeah he's got the alpha attitude. He's got his own issues that play seriously into this series, the only thing that I really didn't like was instead of talking it out his first thing said was always maybe you should leave now. Everytime he said that I swear I wanted to smack him, but we learn why he's that way and it does play well in this story.

I recommend this book and this series since I've already pre-ordered the third one in this series.

Ellery's Duty by Kim Dare (Thrown to the Lions #3)

Ellery's Duty (Thrown to the Lions, #3)
As a well respected dominant, Ellery has been watching the subs from the local leather bars disappear into the lions’ den for far too long, and he’s not convinced that everything is as fine as they all claim it is. He’s determined to find out what really happens in there. If the only way he can do that is to volunteer to be thrown to the lions himself, so be it.

Kefir’s never worked out what the other lions find so interesting about the human sacrifices who visit their den, but this new man is unlike any other human he’s ever met, and Kefir’s captivated. Can the smallest lion in the pride claim a man like Ellery as his pet—is that even the way Kefir wants to think of his human mate?

                                                    4 STARS

This is book three in the Thrown to the Lions series, this book had an interesting twist where it's the lion whose the submissive. Since Kefir was my favorite little lion, I enjoyed this book it was fun watching him learn about humans and submissives. And my all time favorite finding out that what you read on the internet might not be correct information (Gasp!). This little twist to the Thrown series was fun and serious at the same time.

I recommend this book.

The Love of a Mate by Kim Dare (Pack Disclipline 4)

The Love of a Mate (Pack Discipline, #4)
Alfred’s always been the pack’s trouble maker. He’s given up hope of ever being anything else. But, could that change when he suddenly receives the love of a mate?

Caden’s never had any trouble convincing other wolves to do what he wants. He might not have his brother’s status, size or grumpy personality, but that doesn’t matter. He’s always found smiles and flirtations to be far more effective than any of those things anyway.

When Caden sets his sights on Alfred, he knows he’ll need every trick he’s ever acquired if he’s to have any chance of reforming the pack trouble maker into a good wolf and a first-rate potential mate. However, that might not be the only obstacle they face—the rest of the pack might yet prove to be their biggest challenge of all.

                                                                4.5 STARS

Final book in the Pack Discipline series and it rocked seriously I so enjoyed this series, every character brought something completely different out in these stories, at times it was intense, funny, sexy and just a damn good story to read.

Alfred was not my favorite character at first, but by the time we get to this book and his & Caden's story we've learned alot about why he is the way he is. Caden on the other hand is a people watcher so he is so much smarter than he's given credit for. I liked that their relationship is such a struggle at times and at others it works perfectly. We also see how a lot of times people judge you on previous mistakes and some won't get over them no matter how many times you try to make up for it, it's definitely a really good story.

I recommend this book but you would love this series even more.

The Duty of a Beta by Kim Dare (Pack Discipline 3)

The Duty of a Beta (Pack Discipline, #3)
Caught between duty and sweet temptation, what’s a wolf to do?

Gunnar has a job to do. He was brought into the pack to be mated to Alfred and that’s what he’s going to do. Beta’s have always been charged with taking control of the trouble makers in their packs, and Gunnar is going to do his duty by his new pack if it kills him.

Just because his eyes constantly stray towards another wolf, that’s no reason to alter his plans. His alphas might believe in love matches, but Gunnar believes in duty—no matter how sweet the temptation to let his thoughts wander to a very different wolf might be.
                                                      4.75 STARS

ok I said the first book was my favorite now it's tied with this one, I mean I adored this book. Of course the sex scenes are off the charts HOT but the story is so heartwarming and I felt like I could feel their connection and love between the two especially when their caught together I loved that scene with their Alphas.

Gunnar is the new Beta thats supposed to mate and dominate the trouble maker Alfred in the pack, but ends up fallin for the Packs Omega who is shy and submissive by nature. He just can't seem to stay away from Talbot, he does try even when his brother trys to butt in.

Talbot is an Omega thats just shy and submissive, whom everyone trys to pamper instead of seeing how strong he is inside but the new Beta see's that in him and Tal falls head over heels in love with Gunnar even though he knows that Gunnar is supposed to mate with Alfred, he decides to take what time he can get with Gunnar before it's too late.

This is a really really great love story I liked everything about this book, the drama, the secondary characters the previous characters and of course the sex scenes. I recommend this book and this series. You will not be disappointed now I'm off to read the last one.

The Strength of a Gamma by Kim Dare (Pack Discipline 2)

The Strength of a Gamma (Pack Discipline, #2)
Book two in the Pack Discipline SeriesGamma wolf Steffan may have been in love with his best friend for years, but he knows that's not enough. Francis deserves a more dominant mate, and Steffan intends to make sure he gets one.
Steffan has been best friends with Francis ever since the younger wolf joined the pack after his own parents died. He's been in love with him for just as long. But when a new beta joins their pack, he knows it's time to step aside and let Francis form a bond with a more dominant wolf.
Francis has no idea why Steffan's been acting so strangely since the new wolves joined their pack. When he discovers the truth, he starts to question things he'd never thought to doubt before. What if he has no interest in a dominant mate? What if he could find the perfect partner far closer to home?
Everything is about to change for Francis and Steffan. The only question is: are the gammas strong enough to cope?
                                                         4.5 STARS

Now this is where my OCD comes in to play, once I love a series I have to read the next one or I will go nuts, it's this weird fascination I have of needing to know what happens next it's kinda funny when I find a book I love and the next one is months away from being published I really am impossible to deal with I obsess over it til it here. But anyway lets get back this series, yes I'm loving this one alot my absolute favorite so far is the first book but damn they are all so good I finished two and three last night.

Steffan is a big guy but a sweet nice quiet kinda guy. Who thinks he has to be extra careful around anyone smaller wolf or not. He's in love with his best friend but thinks Francis deserves someone who can be strong and in charge, so he tries pushing Francis to the new Beta even though it'll break Steffans heart.

Francis is a smaller Gamma that went through something horrible as a child, he's been best friends with Steffan for a very long time, and things seem great until he and Steffan go after their Alphas at a BDSM club, then everything changes. Francis finds out he got a interesting dominate streak and that Steffan has a submissive one. He also accidentally finds out that Steffan has been in love with him for a very long time. And thats where the fun begins, I will say Ms. Dare really knows how the write one hell of a Hot sex scene cause damn...sometimes after her scenes I gotta stop and fan myself...

I really recommend this book and this series, I'll be reviewing the third book in a few minutes. I love a book that makes me want to hug a character and invest in that character now thats a writer. Kim dare is one of those that makes me care.

Fire & Fang by Eden Cole

Fire and Fang
Brody arrived at the yearly meeting to discover the Draken council requires him to mate immediately. They've decided that he will be the first of the dragon shifters to mate with a male because of their dwindling numbers and few women. Only when a Draken mates can he shift into a powerful dragon. As if that wasn't bad enough, they've not only selected one man but two for him to mate with. Brody can't believe this is happening to him when the two men who bullied him as kids walk into the council chambers.

Parker's kiss, and Jax's touch send Brody running from the only home he's ever known, to cross into the human lands. He meets Matt on the way, a man he thinks is human. Matt is everything that his dragon mates are not. He's gentle and loving, and Brody learns to accept the feelings he's always had. When he doesn't shift to a dragon being with Matt, Brody thinks they can live happily together away from his homeland. But Parker and Jax will not give up on the man they have wanted for so long, even if it means hiring a werewolf to track him.

                                                               3 STARS

If you want a fun, extremely HOT sex scenes but not alot of drama or major storyline this is your book. It was a fun (and as my hubby says smutty) book you will enjoy this one  I did.  We have Brody and as far as I can tell he's kinda a twink, then you have two best friends who both want him, and plan on sharing WTF? Anyway he freaks out and runs Yeah thats probably what I would have done too( Ok my hubby says thats a lie which is probably true ) but still Brody freaks and runs away he stumbles onto Matt and seems to fall in love very quick. They all eventually run into each other and thats where the fun begins.

Now I kinda like this book, it's not alot of serious story but the sex is extremely HOT and it's a fun short happy story, and I enjoy those sometimes. So yeah I would recommend this book.

                                                                       2 STARS

This is my second book by Ms. York, now I loved the first book I read, neither book is part of a series or anything, but this one I just could not get into. I mean Lucas really goes through hell, and his only family is a total douche bag, I felt after everything Lucas went through, for me in this book adding the crap with Amos was too much drama way too much it felt like overkill. Honestly I really would have liked to know how this kid survived what he went through and how he dealt with it. Brett I was just lost on this guy completely.

I didn't like this book it was way too dark for me, Since I did love Ms. York's first book that I read I would buy another from this author, I honestly felt like these two book were written by different people, they are that different in writing techniques. If you want to read a book that isn't anywhere as dark as this one try Not that Type of Guy by Sara York, I enjoyed that one.

                                                           4.5 STARS

I've had this book on my kindle for a while, I had read a review that it'll make you cry, I don't like a book that makes me cry non stop I mean  a little is okay but not lets go thru a box of tissues and feel depressed the rest of the day, nope can't deal with that. So I put it off and could seriously kick my own ass, I mean yes this book had some drama, but damn between the action and the extremely HOT sex I didn't have time to cry, I could NOT put this book down. Now I'm not saying it was perfect for me there were still questions left unanswered for me.

And dammit am I the only one who fell head over heels for the secondary best friend Red, I want his story please. I loved this character, and the MC's Miles & Zeke you can feel what their going through even when you want to smack em' upside the head. I was totally surprised by the villain i didn't see that coming.

I recommend this book cause its a great read, sex drama action and a really good love story, can't get much better than that.

Marrick's Promise by Kim Dare (Thrown to the Lions #2)

Marrick's Promise (Thrown to the Lions, #2)
Marrick thinks that being thrown to the lions will be the ultimate adrenaline rush, and he’s not disappointed. But his plan is to try everything life has to offer once. He has no intention of visiting the lions again.

Blaine and Luther don’t expect to give any of the human sacrifices they share another thought once they leave the den. This man’s different. They have no intention of letting this one go. The only question is, while they are willing to share Marrick with each other, are they willing to share each other with a human who could become as important to each of them as they are to each other?

                                                         4 STARS

This is the second book in this series, where I absolutely loved the first this one was just pretty good for me. I kinda felt like I was a little bit thrown off by Marrick I get that he's an adrenalin junkie but he came across as kinda a jerk, I really felt more for Blaine & Luther than I did for Marrick. Of course the writing is still awesome I just didn't connect with one of the characters, I still got more into this series and have already bought the next two.

Marrick being the adrenalin junkie he is, really seems to not get that he's wormed his way into the hearts of Blaine & Luther. And the poor Lions seem to be completely clueless as to what humans need,  I love learning about more of the Lions especially Kelfir I have a feeling he's gonna be my favorite. We also get another look at Arslan & Ryland too, and the sex is Hot!

I'm still gonna recommend this book because I believe Ms. Dare can tell one hell of a story, and you will find something that connects you in each one she writes.

But when Caleb falls ill he winds up connecting with a human as he never has before, and putting his own life at risk when he does.

                                                    4 STARS

This is the first book I've read from this author and I gotta say I laughed my butt off, it's a sweet, funny adorable story and I really liked it. It did go alittle fast for me and I'd have liked a few more things answered but for the most part I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Caleb is lonely on Valentine's day and remembering the year before being dumped by his then boyfriend makes the day kinda suck right? Well then he literally runs into Angelo and things start to looks up.

Angelo is an insomniac vampire, I lost it right there, He's such a sweet and romantic guy that I wanted one just like him you know? Anyhow they meet and things get hot and heavy then food poisoning comes into play.

I really recommend this story it's fun, romantic and I really, really enjoyed this read.

Ravyn's Heart by Jana Downs (Ravyn Warriors 2)

Ravyn's Heart (Ravyn Warriors #2)

Damian is breaking his limits faster than he can erect them, and duty and propriety are interfering ever more heavily in their affair. Can Ally commit to the relationship, or is their taboo romance just too much for the warrior to handle?

                                                            4.5 STARS

This is the second book in the Ravyn's Warriors series and I gotta admit I liked it even better than the first. this one is more about the characters and their relationship and how they deal with it than action or drama. I mean you get more drama between the Ravyn's then an outside villain, You get to know the secondary characters more but it's main focus is on your main two.

Allasandro is the wild child, party animal, slut LOL of the group I think he's also the youngest too He's best friends with Dagues from the first book, so we get more into that relationship also. He goes to the airport to pick up Damian who is his bf's dad and OMG he's attracted to Damian in a major way, and the fantasies holy hell I'm talking HOT!!! Ally-cat earned his nickname being just that, so suddenly in a serious relationship has it's down fall.

Damian is one of the oldest vampires, Dagues' father and Alex master vampire of Haven's brother, he also has a voice of an angel. He's kinda depressed and given up on life since Dageus disappeared 6yrs ago, now he's gotta find a muse. Guess where that comes from Ally-cat. Thats where the fun begins because Damn they both have some seriously HOT fantasies, and its hard for Dageus to come to terms with his dad dating his best friend.

I recommend this book cause it was fun and i thoroughly enjoyed it.  Just picked up the third book in this series and can't wait to read that one, Great Job Ms. Downs.

And Brandon fills that need with drugs and prostitutes. One thing Brandon never expected to find through living dangerously, was true love.

Enjoy some of the characters from the best selling GA novel Happy Endings, and see how Brandon's life on the edge brings him to a place he never expected, at peace with his inner demons and in the arms of someone who loves him for the man he is 'post war'

I'm a huge fan of Ms. Hauser's books she doesn't shy away from the difficult topics and this book goes to show just how intense she can get. I won't say this was one of my favorites but it does do justice to this series, you have to have that in any series it can't all be perfect no bad habits or stupid decisions. This book deals with some serious shit, from drugs, PSTD, coming out, to being a cross dressing hooker, it doesn't candy coat it either. But that's what makes you read till the end. The only problem I had with it was that it didn't finish dealing with the serious issues but being a series these may work out in future books. I can't really explain or I will give to much away but I will recommend this book and tell you it's intense but so worth it.

                                               4.5 STARS

Ok this story is part whole Marius Brothers world, and to get the most awesomeness outta this story is a good idea to have read those. I really enjoyed this one not only did it bring together some of my favorite characters it introduced me to more that I really think I will love.

Darcy we met in the previous A Zane Po' Boy book, he's a vampire warrior. He meets Ayden who is trapped in wolf form, they realize their mates and Darcy orders Ayden to shift back, which he finally can since Darcy is his mate. They have extremely Hot! sex....And I mean Hot!sex...the decide to rescue Ayden's brothers from the evil pack Alpha Paul.

I really recommend this entire series starting with the Marius Brothers I think you will totally enjoy it. I love a series that makes me think that it's a tv series that I get to watch every week.

Samson doesn’t know what he did to run Landon off all those years ago, but he’s sure Landon’s leaving was for the best. The intervening years have only made Landon an even sexier temptation -- and Landon’s return presents Samson with a whole new set of problems.

Attraction sizzles between them, but having been burned once by Samson has left Landon twice shy. Even as Samson convinces Landon to let him out of the penalty box and into his life, Samson has to face the fact that his closely guarded secrets may come to light. Caught between the ghosts of his past and the promise of a future with Landon, the hockey star must decide if now that he's come off the bench, he's ready to come out of the closet.

                                                                      3.75 STARS

This book is book #2 of The Marauders series, a NHL team. I liked this story for the most part, and a few things that I didn't. First the whole paranoid that someone would know that Samson was gay eventually started to grate on my nerves, and made him come across as an asshole, and then him not dealing with his unrequited feeling for Kyle needed to be addressed, because honestly if I was Landon, there's no way in hell I  would have forgiven Samson.

For me Samson came across as not a good guy, even with the horrible things that happened to him when he was younger, he just didn't really redeem himself in your eyes. Landon on the other hand was an adorable character that I wanted to protect and take care of him. Their love story was okay, but there were things I'd have liked answered. I wouldn't have minded more on the secondary characters too. It's still a pretty good book, and I would read more by this author.

                                                               4.5 STARS

This is the first book in a new series, I just gotta say I really really liked this book. I mean the sex is steaming HOT! even the forced seduction, didn't come across as biting nails eery. I enjoyed that this author introduced me to a new world without making it seem boring or losing any information. It jumps right into the action from the first page and the chemistry between the two main characters is introduced in a way that doesn't seem forced at all.

Ben is a vampire warrior of light that is chasing a warrior of the dark, Malcolm the bad guy. He finds his mate Miles a human but Miles is also Malcolm's mate. It's got an interesting twist to the whole mate story that I really liked. We get to meet some very exciting  secondary characters that I can't wait to read their stories they sound fun and the storylines sound exciting. I recommend this book it's gonna be a really good series.

This being the first book I've read from this author, and I liked it. This was an interesting story that took so fun risks but they paid off. I like the chemistry and the action  between these two characters. Add in some really fun secondary characters, which I will want to read there stories also.

Mateo is an government assassin that is sent to take out Riley, but feels there's some mistake cause the only thing that he finds that Riley is hiding is the fact that he's gay. Mateo ends up saving Riley as someone else is after him and hiding out together. The more hes around Riley the more he falls for him. It's a cute little love story, but alot more action in this book.

Riley is a closeted CEO, who finds out he has a hit put on him and goes into hiding with Mateo. The action continues and we get more back story of both main characters and get some info for future books. I really liked this book it was an interesting take on assassins and government agencys. I'm gonna go buy the next one in this series now.

Question Mark by S.E. Culpepper

Question Mark
Coming back from being well and truly dumped is a struggle for the average guy. For Mark Newland, it’s much, much worse. With a long string of broken relationships behind him, Mark is confronted with a choice: grow up and fix the man he’s become, or continue on his lonely and bitter path. With reinvention in mind, Mark heads for a vacation in Bora Bora, hoping it will bring him closer to what he wants. He simply never figured it would be in the form of Hollywood’s most eligible gay bachelor, Zane Whitlow.

If Zane is suspicious of romance, he blames it entirely on his career. Never totally sure that men he’s been with wanted him over a taste of his fame, he errs on the side of caution when it comes to love. Until he meets Mark Newland, that is. Only hours into his vacation and for reasons he can’t understand himself, Zane abandons his usual safe approach in favor of pursuit. But Zane’s not the only one who thinks Mark might be the perfect guy…

With attraction, fear, and insecurity warring within Mark, will he have the strength to believe he deserves lasting love, or will his old ways come back to haunt him?

                                                             5 STARS

Have you ever started a book and fell in love with it on after the first paragraph? Yeah this book did that for me, and never stopped OMG I love this book. First off we get an beautiful and I mean beautiful love story, add some drama but with alot of communication, feelings and family and this story is INCREDIBLE! Main thing about this book i loved the communication between the characters, the fears, secrets, and needs being discussed like adults not hiding what they were feeling inside or at least not for long. The story is told in such a great way that I swear it was like I was watching a movie.

Mark comes across as an sweet guy whose made some really bad choices lately, falling in love with the wrong guy and becoming someone that neither he nor his family recognizes. He finally decides he needs to change that and takes an impromptu vacation to Bora Bora. There he meets Zane Whitlow movie star hero.

Zane whose a action star, but in real like a shy gay guy who can't take to men cause he's never sure if they really want him because he's a star or not. Zane sees Mark and wants him plain and simple, the hijinx  that ensues is fun and adorable but then Hollywood enters and Zane has to leave his first vacation in years, and Mark. Then there's Christian who also wants Mark and lets Zane know he has competition.

This is my first book by this author but she will now be on my gotta have list, I mean the sex is really toned down, but I promise you won't even notice. If you want to read a beautiful love story. Then I'm telling you this book is for you. This is a definite recommend.

Orlin's Fall by Amber Kell (Planetary Submissives #2)

Orlin's Fall (Planetary Submissives, #2)
Orlin didn't know when he put himself up for sale that he would be responsible for changing a kingdom.

Broke and homeless, Orlin puts himself up for sale as a pet. Approached by his new Master, Orlin decides maybe being owned by a gorgeous king wouldn't be fate worse than death. He doesn't expect to become the one person who changes the views of an entire kingdom...or to be more than a lover for the man who buys him.

At first sight of the sexy oiled sub, Aester Fall knows he's not leaving until Orlin belongs to him. He might be hanging on to his kingdom by his fingernails but he knows some things are worth the fight. When he returns home with Orlin, he learns his new pet might not be as pet-like as he first appeared.

Neither man expects to change the fate of a world…much less two of them.

                                          4.5 STARS

This is book 2 of the Planetary Submissives series, and it rocks. Of course for me it being an Amber Kell book, that's already a plus for me a cause I know it'll be entertaining. And thid one didn't disappoint me.

Orlin is a royal who could be King on his world. But his parents died and left him in  debt, so he sells off everything and has to put himself on sell at the auction block for a five year contract. I love Orlin he seems like an adorable nice guy, but one that thinks for himself. He comes into his power once he's no longer a virgin, that when he finds out he has the kings mark but doesn't want Aester to know.

Aester is the King in his world, and has his two brothers as advisers. I can't wait for their stories, they go to the auction and just before they're ready to leave Aester see's Orlin and bids high, of course he wins the bid and we get to the good stuff from there. Throw in some bad guys and this story rocks, my favorite thing is always the communication between the characters it brings it closer to home for me.

It's a fun, exciting story and Ms. Kell always leaves me wanting to read more. I definitely recommend this book. And if your not a fan yet you will be, Amber Kell knows how to write an entertaining book one where the reader can't stop till it's finished.

Lane and the Lycans by Gale Stanley (Symbiotic Mates #6)

Lane and the Lycans (Symbiotic Mates, #6)The Kindred are planning an attack on the Lycans, and Lane's vampire master sends him to Arcadia to spy on the wolf-shifters. Things go horribly wrong when a bear decides to have Lane for dinner. Two wolves intervene, and Lane is sure he'll end up as wolf kibble instead of bear meat, but one of the Lycans is a do-gooder wildlife enthusiast and he's determined to keep Lane safe. The cat-shifter knew that spying on a bunch of wolves wouldn't be easy but he never expected to be taken home and housebroken.
                                                  4.75 STARS

This is book #6 in the Symbiotic Mates series and I gotta say my favorite so far.
Not only is the sex extremely HOT! the drama is toned down and more time is spent on the characters and their attraction to each other.

Lane is a Lynx shifter, that lives with Ethan the second in command of the Kindred (vampires), he's been abused but he mistakenly thinks that that's all he'll every have. He's sent by Ethan to spy on the Lycans, but ends up getting chased by a momma bear and rescued by Nicky & Doug.

Nicky & Doug are wolves who think that they're taking care of a lynx whose broken his leg. Nicky suspects that Lane is a rare cat shifter, but keeps quiet, He's happily in love with his mate Doug, but knows somethings special about this Lynx.

I loved the fun in this book, the pouting from Doug over a pussycat was hilarious, you so see where Nicky has Doug wrapped around his little finger cause he always gets his way. And Lane realizing that he wants what they have with them both. The playfulness about cats and dogs makes this a very fun book. I definitely recommend.

Ryland's Sacrifice by Kim Dare (Thrown to the Lions #1)

Ryland's Sacrifice (Thrown to the Lions, #1)
Principles don’t pay tuition fees. When Ryland’s math scholarship disappears overnight, he has two choices. He can borrow money from fellow student Jason Burrows, who has very interesting ways of collecting debts. Or, he can volunteer to be thrown to the werelions.

One night spent playing the part of a willing human sacrifice will give him enough money to finish his PhD. It seems like a good deal—right up until the moment he finds himself naked, blindfolded, bound and surrounded by lions

                                                        4.5 STARS

Ms. Dare has done it again I'm now hooked on another series which I can't wait to read the next book, Damn my OCD tendencies,LOL. Wow what can I say but ths book is HOT....if this is what it meant to be thrown in the lions den please me next...I loved this book and how it is brought around, the blurb doesn't do it justice.

Ryland's a sweet guy who was desperate enough for tuition money that he agreed to be blindfolded and thrown to the lions. Which are actually werelions, not the ones that actually ripe you apart and eat you. He gets there and finds out the Alpha is one of his professors kind of, he's not really in his class just sneaks in to hear Arslan speak. He realizes that the Professor is his master but feels unworthy of him because he took money to be there.

Arslan is Alpha of his pride, and realizes immediately that Ryland is his mate, so when Ryland tells him he can't be in his pride Arslan doesn't understand. Thats where the trouble starts, and these two need to work on communication to make their way back to each other.

I really liked this story, it's was funny and sexy without major drama, and i'm looking forward to the secondary characters stories. .I definitely recommend

                                                                  2.50 STARS

I personally didn't like this book, I liked the plot line but the story just didn't bring it in for me.
The unexpected daddy part was good, I think meeting a complete stranger and suddenly asking him to be your nanny was to far out there, and the ensuing love story went way to quick. I mean they had so many things that should have been at least talked about even Joey suddenly being a parent he needed so time to get use to that also, the added (drama) of the fire made no sense to me. Now saying that I'm not saying that this author can't write I'm only saying this book didn't work for me thats all ok?  it was also way to short which may be part of the reason it didn't work just too many questions not answered. I'm sorry I don't recommend this book, I just didn't go for it.

Best Vacation that never was by Lynn Lorenz

Best Vacation that Never Was
When Troy Hastings' plans for the vacation of his dreams literally goes up in smoke, he's left homeless, alone, and wearing only a hospital gown. Jason Cooper, the firefighter who rescues him, can only think of what he’d like to do to Troy. Troy's lost everything and Jason wants to help him get his life back. With each passing day, Jason wants that life to include him. But he only has seven days until Troy's friends return from the trip to make Troy see that Jason is the man he's been looking for all along.

Jason spends that time giving Troy the best vacation he's ever had, and in the process, wooing the man who has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Troy's having the time of his life, enjoying stepping out of his comfort zone, trying new things: like a little bondage, the hottest sex he’s ever had, and parasailing, and he’s game for more.

When the week is up, Troy will find himself a new apartment…unless Jason can convince him to stay.

                                                                      3.75 STARS

This story, which I think I may have actually read before, it seemed familiar. It's a nice story that I really liked, only thing that I didn't was the insecurity in between the two main characters, I mean that each felt something but both were just to afraid to say anything. That kinda grates on my nerves, but once they get they're head outta their ass's it works well and i thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Troy is a good guy who wants someone to love and thinks one of his friends is the answer so he's planning a vacation cruise and thinks he can prove to said friend that he's worth it. I like the character of Troy, but not his willingness to let this Douglas guy walk all over him. On the eve of his vacation trip he's all packed and enjoying a bath when his apartment building catches fire. He's rescued by a gorgeous hot fireman (yeah my brain went to the gutter too LOL) Anyway Troy's friends are all on vacation and he's got no phone,no money and nowhere to go.

Jason is a fireman and he just sounds HOT! he rescues Troy from the burning building then can't get him outta his mind . So after his shift he goes to the hospital, to checkup on him. He sees Troy sitting there all alone and talks him into staying with Jason for the week. Then precedes to be a hero as he is.

I liked that Jason was sucha good guy that he goes out of his way to help Troy put his life back together even before anything happens between them, it makes him just a good guy mot expecting anything, This is a cute story that I enjoyed reading, I would recommend it.

Howl for Me by Dana Marie Bell (True Destiny #3)

Howl For Me (True Destiny, #3)

Jeffrey Grimm’s grandfather, Odin, tortured and nearly killed his twin sister. He’s on a mission to return the favor. To get the job done, he needs the world's oldest living laser hair removal candidate: Fenrisùlfr, the werewolf prophesy has decreed will kill Odin at Ragnarrok.

                                                 4 STARS

Okay here we go, now this is a m/m book thats a part of a series where the first two books were m/m/f and m/f. Now that being said I did not read the first two, and yet I still really liked this book. Now thats saying something, because to really understand this book you should read the two previous ones. I just haven't felt like reading any thing but m/m's.

Here's what I got Jeff is human even though his dad is Thor, Yeah I got a little lost there too. But his twin sister is in the previous book and his older sis in the first one. With me so far? It did take me awhile to get all the mythology and all the Gods names worked out but that college course in mythology really came in handy. Anyhow we have Jeff who rescues Fenris from his imprisonment by Odin.
Jeff is Fen's mate so  they struggle with that, and Odin wanting to kill everybody.

This story would make one hell of a syfy movie seriously there's alot of action and some really hot sex, plus you are set up for the next book. What I didn't like about this book is you do really need to read the previous ones to get who is who in it, I gotta say I was lost a big part of this book. But Ms. Bell can definitely tell a damn good story cause i had to finish it and thats the main thing right?
I will recommend this book.

The Mark of an Alpha by Kim Dare (Pack Disciplin 1)

The Mark of an Alpha (Pack Discipline, #1)
Book one in the Pack Discipline SeriesDominance and submission mean different things to werewolves than to humans. Once Marsdon and Bennett try things the human way - nothing can ever be the same for them again.
Werewolf tradition is very clear. The alpha pair is the corner stone of the pack. Equality between the alphas is everything. Alphas mate with alphas.
Human leather clubs work to different rules. Dominants mate with submissives. Power is exchanged freely and for the ultimate pleasure of all. Sometimes the most alpha men in the club find happiness with the most omega men. And sometimes the omegas are more than they first appear to be.
A wolf might be able to hide his identity and play anonymously in those clubs for a little while, but he can't ignore reality forever. Marsdon and Bennett have lives to get back to, they have packs to return to...they have wolfen traditions to follow.
They have just one more night together before they have to lose each other forever. All they can do now, is make the most of it.
                                                   4.25 STARS

This series had such an interesting take on the whole Wolf, Pack, Mate situation that I really liked the difference. I mean it starts with a very intense BDSM scene that was just plain HOT! I mean Damn...fans self....But what got me hooked on this book was the mark scene I actually cried when the Master left it was intense seriously.

We get Bennett who has never seen his Dom but as a Alpha he has to not be submissive so he goes to a club and thats where he meets his master. But it can't last so they have one night which is where this story starts. Bennett has to mate with another Alpha whom he's never met, once they meet and he realizes that it's his master he struggles with his want to submit, being an Alpha and falling in love with his mate. I loved they way Ms. Dare brought it across and you understand where Bennett is coming from. Of course there are times I wanted to shake him but his character is brought about in a very interesting manner.

Marsdon is an Alpha, and Dom you get the beginning scene from his point of view and realize right off the bat that he's head over heels for his sub, even though he's never seen his face. It's pretty awesome when a reader can feel how intense and strong a characters love is. He tries repeatedly to make Bennett understand that he doesn't see him as less of an Alpha because he likes to submit.
We get this story from that, the struggles on both sides, the start of a new pack and our secondary characters also.

I loved this story, when you get a scene as intense as the first one in this book is, you can't put it down till your finished. I've already bought the second book in this series because I loved the first. I recommend this book.

Ravyn's Blood by Jana Downs (Ravyn Warriors 1)

Ravyn's Blood (Ravyn Warriors #1)
Dageus is a demon warrior sworn to protect his Prince even if it means sacrificing his past. Even without his memories, ice blue eyes and hard male touches haunt his fantasies. Despite his disturbing desires, Dageus has more important things to worry about when his prince and fellow warriors travel from Demontia to Earth to escape the assassins hot on their trail.

After years of searching for his lost lover, Kalel, Master Vampire Alexander never expects to find him walking through the doors of his theater. But Kalel is no longer the same young dancer Alex remembers. Kalel is now a Ravyn warrior with a new name and no memory of their love.

When Dageus finds himself face-to-face with the man of his dreams, he can no longer deny the desires that have driven him in the years since becoming a Ravyn. He must learn to balance love and duty in order to find happiness in a world full of killers, vampires, and dances that are hot enough to scorch the sun.

                                                    3.5 STARS

This is another first book by this author for me, and I have to admit I liked it a little bit more than the last book I read. The first book in any series I think has to be the hardest cause you need to establish your world, lay out your characters and the storyline. I believe Ms. Downs did that well. The only major thing I didn't like with this story was that Dageus and Kalel were the same person, it confused the story some.

Dageus (Kalel) was a human who fell in love with a Master Vampire, but was kidnapped by demon slavers and sold as a sex slave. I liked the beginning and how we learn that Dageus is Kalel and his determination to get back to Alex even after six years he's still trying. He fights to the death with 50 other guys to get the chance at a portal to take him back to Alex. But once he wins (here's where I got lost) he ends up a Ravyn the Prince of Demontia's guards. And his memory's are erased, yet he still dreams of Alex just doesn't know why. I didn't like that he pretended to be straight but oh well.

Alex on the other hand is a Master Vampire in Haven Minnesota He fell in love with a dancer Kalel. And decides to have him as his Bride (same thing as a shifter mate). The only problem I had with Alex was did he search at all for Kalel, we don't get his struggle so it feels kinda empty. Anyway things happen and the Ravyn's are on earth and Dageus and Alex meet and Damn the chemistry is Hot!. We also get a good amount of secondary characters and where their story may go.

I will definitely buy the second story to this series and see where it goes. I would recommend this book for a first one it was good.

The Soldier & the State Trooper by Cherie Noel

The Soldier & the State Trooper (The Soldier and..., #1)
Career soldier Christie Collins figured out early that love could be lost in the blink of an eye, leaving an empty place that was just another pothole on life’s rocky road. The detours of sudden single fatherhood and a nosy best friend who won’t let even death stop her from interfering in every date leave Christie convinced that finding a partner is next to impossible.
State Trooper Robert Lindstrom catches Christie speeding along the stretch of highway he patrols and a routine traffic stop turns into love lights flashing and instant attraction for these two men in uniform. It looks like smooth sailing to their happily ever after until an unexpected deployment sends Christie into danger. Can their love survive both bombs and the betrayal of Christie by his closest comrade in arms?

                                                  3 STARS

This is my first book by this author, and I had mixed feelings about it. Where I liked the premise of the story, the psychic stuff, didn't work for me in this book. We get a single dad soldier who meets a state trooper after being pulled over I loved that, but then we add in the soldier can hear his dead best friend, and the state troopers wiccan family WTF?

Christie (which is such a weird name for a guy, why not go with chris?) is a soldier who is out, he has a daughter with his best friend whom gets killed with her partner, by a drunk driver. He's struggling with being a full time dad and a soldier when he gets a speeding ticket. Now if the story had continued from there I think i would have loved it, but you add in Caro who Christie talks to even though she's dead, I could have handled that really, but then he gets deployed and crazy stuff happens, he's engaged, he's almost blown up, he makes out with his "straight" best friend, feels guilty and almost loses everything. But we lose the story in how they adapt to being parents together we don't get that at all. The sex is hot but there's so much that they need to work through, that the story feel flat for me.

Robert whose a state Trooper falls in love at first sight HUH? I mean he gives the guy a ticket and he knows that he's the one, we never get the story of how Christie became a dad or why after only six months he takes over care of Christie's daughter, and all the paperwork just seems done. Then we get some of how hard it is being a single dad. I still don't get what all was up with Robert's family?

This book didn't work for me, it started with a great storyline but lost it in the drama, that ensued.
it's an okay story it just didn't do it for me.
