As a short story this one was awesome, I'm loving all the stories with the geeky & nerdy guys I just always found them incredibly hot. Of course I'm a major fan of the Big Bang Theory on CBS too, there's just something undeniably sexy about an extremely smart guy, and having two smart guys together is even better Jin & Nico have their differences but even as a short story we get lots of info about each character and why they both act the way they do. It's a very sweet adorable love story that I really enjoyed. I recommend

This is book 8 of the Mate or Meal series, I was at odds on this one I loved it don't get me wrong but as of book one I barely forgave Elder Wade for his prejudice that started this series so I thought he'd learned his lesson since then but as luck would have it he's at it again butting in to his sons lives. I really wanted to kick his ass in this one I mean really?

Isaac is a half breed half wolf/half ram so he's already had a pretty crappy way to go, then at a gathering at the Cunninghams he meets his mate another half breed Chantay half sidhe/half incubus they mate but Isaac's father wants to separate them  and when he sends Isaac on a mission it goes to hell in a hand basket, I mean seriously it's bad I actually started to wonder if we may lose some major characters from previous books, gotta say it kept me on my toes.

I recommend this one but you should really read this series it is really good I have enjoyed every book so far.

I gotta say as a final book to a series this one is true to it's name and "Simply Perfect" I got all my questions answered and a really sweet love story all wrapped up in one awesome story. The collaboration of two of my top favorite authors Lynn Hagen & Stormy Glenn, is not only a joy for me but these two took me on a journey that I will not soon forget, Kudos to you both for this incredibly funny, sexy and exciting series.

Shane we met in a previous story was supposed to die on earth, but his brother & the Lady Blue Crew find a way to save him. He's fascinated with the new worlds surrounding him, then the General comes aboard and it's love at first sight, or at least lust at first sight.

Merrick the general has his own secrets to keep hidden, but one sniff of Shane and he knows his mate is on board the lady blue. He really does his best to stay away but fate steps in the way. Add in my favorite couple of Remy & Gigi (hehe get it Gigi) ok sorry but add in them and some serious drama and you get an absolute Awesome series finale.

I recommend! This entire series is a really good keep you on your toes, asking WTH? sexy, funny group of stories that I know I will re read again & again. And if by chance Ms. Glenn or Ms. Hagen read this I personally would love to read another series by you two you both entertain me and it's a joy to read your books.

Hair of the Dog by Ashlyn Kane & Morgan James

Hair of the DogIt’s nine o’clock the morning after his father’s funeral, and Ezra Jones already knows it’s going to be a bad day. He wakes up hungover, sore, and covered in blood. Then it gets worse: the handsome and compelling Callum Dawson shows up on his doorstep claiming Ezra’s been turned into a werewolf. Ezra wants to be skeptical, but the evidence is hard to ignore.

Ezra doesn’t have a lot of time to get used to the rules Alpha Callum imposes—or the way his body responds to Callum’s dominance—as he’s busily working for the CDC to help uncover the origins of a lycan epidemic. When the sexual tension finally breaks, Ezra barely has time to enjoy it, because a new danger threatens. Someone wants Ezra for their own unscrupulous purposes and will do anything to get him.

                                                4 STARS

I liked this book for the most part, got a little bored with all the technical sciencey stuff but I get why it's put in there, really I do. The chemistry between Callum & Ezra is HOT! right from the start, the wait just made it more intense & somewhat frustrating. But the drama that brings them together is pretty awesome, and actually had me stumped on who did it. I didn't understand the ending with Lucien kinda thought that didn't even need to be thrown in, because it really was an awesome drama read with romance thrown in for support. I'm recommending because it was an entertaining read and I enjoyed it.

Touch Like Breathing (After Anna #2) by Theda Black

Touch Like Breathing (After Anna, #2)
Facing life and death situations as cops shouldn't be easier than facing each other--should it? Will and Tyler lost each other after Anna's death, but they're determined to save their friendship and partnership on the force after it's over. Good thing they're determined--it's going to take everything they've got as the pressure mounts and denial, anger and pain drives one of them to do something he'll never forgive himself for. Luckily his best friend has enough forgiveness for both of them--at least until he disappears, leaving behind a grieving partner who'll do absolutely anything to save him. Will it be enough, or is everything they've been to each other lost forever?

                                                      2.5 STARS

This book I bought because it was a sequel to After Anna (my OCD kicked in) which I got on amazon's free list. I gotta say both books were a little too dark & depressing for me the first one was alittle better than this one, but they go down some really dark avenues that I didn't really like. And they never really resolve them it just keeps going down the same path over and over again. I gotta say I won't recommend, this series was just to dark for me after I finished reading it I didn't like the way it left me feeling, sorry I didn't like this one.

First You Fall (Kevin Connor Mystery #1) by Scott Sherman

First You Fall (Kevin Connor Mystery #1)
When his friend's death is ruled a suicide, Kevin Connor—a hustler by trade, sleuth by default—sets out to prove a case of murder. It doesn't help matters that the victim's grown children, who disapproved of their father's gay lifestyle, are only concerned about their inheritance. But they are not Kevin's only problem. His high-strung mother has moved in with him—and she knows nothing about his questionable . . . job.

                                    5 STARS

I have had this story on my kindle for awhile, and I can't believe I waited this long to read  it. This is a wonderful brilliantly written story that has me buying the next book, and pre-ordering the third one, not only is this a crime drama, it's freckin' hilarious, it also had me in tears a time or two.

I fell in love with Kevin right off the bat, yeah I know he's a hustler but once you start reading you just can't help your self. His mom moving in was just soo funny and the reason for it had me LMAO.
But the seriousness of suicide/murder was intense, and eerily real in it's material, because of the issues it deals with I could happen.

Tony almost made me not like him, took him long enough to pull his head outta his ass, Freddy is a character I could see that was fun and great best friend material his take on everything was awesome.
Marc I love geeky guys he's such a vital player in this mystery plus he's so sweet too. I can't leave out Romeo I want my own construction worker whose romantic enough to climb a fire escape just to give me his number.

I recommend this one, I love a book that makes me laugh and this one did, even with the seriousness of the crime and getting your heart broken the family drama and best friend lightened it enough that I can't wait to read the next one Second you Sin.

                                           4.75 STARS

Everybody knows I'm a big fan of Ms. Flynn's book but this one takes the cake, I got so wrapped up with Emmett & Travis that I forgot I was baking and burnt my cake LOL. Yes I felt it was that good, it dealt with issues we haven't read in this series before, I don't know that it's even similar to any I've read before either.

I gotta say I was surprised enough to wonder if I would get my HEA, I know I'm a sucker for those that's probably why I love these stories. To know that love can and will conquer all is powerful to read at least for me it is. So after all the hell and I mean hell that poor Emmett has gone through to know that he just might not get his happy ever after was heart wrenching and yeah I cried like a baby, it's a very intense story but it's a good love story too.

Plus we get some of our favorites to enhance this story, Riley has got to be my favorite character of all the Marius' series and spin-off's so I enjoyed catching up with him and the other brothers and their mates, I do have to say I wasn't expecting the twist and tie in to the Marius family it was a good surprise. I Loved it!
I recommend.
