                                                            4.5 STARS

This is the series that got me started on Joyee Flynn books and I gotta say, this one did not disappoint. There is more drama in this series than I usually like but Bless her heart Ms. Flynn writes it to where I'm not hating it, I may cry for the characters and it brings me back for more.

Lennox is literally put through hell, I mean the shit he goes through I don't see how anybody can survive that. Then he's finally recused by Hugo who at the time is a bodyguard/ enforcer type of guy. He becomes an Alpha to keep Lennox with him. Now it's an interesting take on how love doesn't care on the outside shell of a person. I love this plotline it makes you think. Of course things happen within the story but they meet their two Beta's and the Hot sex ensues (Yay for me) and I mean Hot sex....cold shower before continuing to read...You also meet some really interesting secondary characters that I hope we get their stories soon.

I recommend this book, and this series, If you want an entertaining story that will keep you coming back for more this series is for you.

The Luckiest (Lucky Moon #2) by Piper Vaughn & M.J. O'Shea

The Luckiest (Lucky Moon, #2)
Rock star Nick Ventura has finally hit rock bottom. Jealous of his brother’s new love, he starts overindulging in his usual vices and winds up crashing his car into a department store in a drunken haze. Publicly humiliated and on the verge of jail time, he enters into a court-ordered rehabilitation program.

Nutritionist Luka Novak is flamboyant, effeminate, the type of gay man that bisexual Nick would normally sneer at. His sunny nature hides a deep hurt from a previous relationship. Luka knows he should be wary of Nick’s reputation, but he’s drawn to Nick despite himself. Their tentative friendship turns into romance, but Luka soon comes to realize that Nick's fear of losing his bad boy reputation means he'll probably never go public with their relationship.

Nick never thought he needed anyone, until Luka Novak came into his life. Now he has to reconcile his carefree past with the future he suddenly wants more than anything. And the first lesson he has to learn is how to become the man that both he and Luka need him to be, rather than stay the boy he always was. Alone.

                                                             4.75 STARS

I Loved this book, the storyline, the sex scenes, the drama and yeah I'm not one for drama, but this story was so intense that I actually cried a good amount of this book. Not cause it was overly dramatic or anything some of those tears were happy tears. It really is a beautiful love story, and one that's very believable too.

You got Nick rock star extraordinaire, whose on the literally high life trip. Then an accident ensues and he's sent to rehab, you get such an intense look into his life, that you can feel his pain, but you also wanna smack him up side the head A LOT. His love and insecurity over his brother who is the only constant in his life, gets married to a guy from their past and he becomes instantly jealous of his brother attention. So he ashes out by being party animal. While in rehab he meets Nutritionist Luka and he finds himself attracted.

Luka on the other hand does try to be the professional about his own attraction to Nick, but is also so drawn to wanting to help him too. Their relationship doesn't start for months after Nick gets out of rehab which i really liked cause it got rid of the creepy factor. But it's a definite uphill battle. The chemistry between the two MC's is really well written and I loved the secondary characters too. There were lots of times I wanted to shake Nick but eventually he gets his head outta his ass, which is a good thing. Shane & Jesse are awesome as backup, and I;m gonna go buy their story now cause this one is that damn good. I recommend this book you gotta read this one it's worth it and you will love it too.

Frat Boy and Toppy by Anne Tenino

Frat Boy and ToppyBrad is great at meeting other people’s expectations. But his own? Not so much. Take the gay thing. Okay, so yeah. It took a morning meeting with a frat brother’s hairy, naked ass for him to admit it, but he knows the truth about himself now. Let the gay life commence.

Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. He hasn’t quite determined how to come out to anyone, even Sebastian, the geeky-hot TA in his history class. Sebastian is everything Brad is not. Intellectual, suave, hairy. Out. And he doesn’t seem interested in Brad, even when Brad makes a fool of himself trying to catch his notice.

Score one for foolery: Sebastian does more than notice Brad; he takes him to bed. Brad’s been with plenty of girls, but with Sebastian, the sex is something else entirely—hot, mind-blowing, affirming, and a little domineering in a way that drives him wild. But when great sex turns into something more—dare he admit the “L” word?—Brad must face the crushing realization that Sebastian doesn’t feel the same. Unless, of course, he does. After all, even grad students can be idiots about matters of the heart.

                                                       4.75 STARS

I hadn't planned on liking this book, I had read a couple of reviews that made me think I might not like it. But of course I should take my own advice and realize it's just another's opinion and there are so many factors in how you may or may not like a book, like what kind of day they've had, or if something is just not connecting with that person. I do it all the time I mean if I really don't like a book, I will usually read it twice just to be sure that it's not just me having a bad day or me being frustrated about something. If I don't like it the second time I will review it as such.

My advice if it sounds appealing to you go for it some of my absolute favorite books got bad reviews and it's usually not because it wasn't good it was all in who knows who same with good reviews, if one of my favorite authors write a book that I don't like I'm going to say it but it's also not a mark against that author, it just means that book didn't do it for me. I will still buy books from my favorite authors, You say favorite authors? Yes those are the authors that have more than two or three books that I absolutely adore. That have captured my heart and I want more the ones that I know will entertain me and have earned that trust.

Ok sorry got off on a rant, now back to this awesome book i just finished. there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it except for maybe I want more now, I want Collins story too and maybe even find out Kyle's a little more than just curious LOL. Loved this story it's sweet and not overly dramatic I did shed a tear or two but it was sooo worth it. I mean Brad even being a jock type guy wanting to bottom for smart, sexy,  and a little bit shorter Sebastian was Hot as hell. I mean the sex was off the charts, I need a smoke and I don't smoke, kinda Hot! and the hilarious way the secondary characters act, even the coming out with the fraternity guys was so sweet and funny I'm telling you this is a book you gotta read, I'm sitting here still smiling it's a great story that will leave you believing in falling in love. I recommend this story.

Immortality is the Suck (Adam & Peter #1) bu A M Riley

Immortality is the Suck (Adam & Peter, #1)
Adam's an undercover vice cop dealing with a dark past. He's no stranger to bad nights; in fact, he's lived a lot of them. But he won't survive this one. First, a drug deal he's working goes south. Then his partner and sometimes sex partner Peter has to watch him bleed to death. But the kicker: he's not sure what's worse. Watching Peter cry over him or waking up undead.

Peter's a good cop in love with a bad man. Or a bad vampire, now. Watching Adam die was the worst thing he could imagine. Until he woke up. Now their relationship's in crisis. Adam's in the middle of a vampire enclave at the center of Los Angeles motorcycle clubs and Peter just can't hack it.

Adam thinks he's fine with that. He's a commitment-phobe. But he's about to discover, immortality is seriously the suck.

                                                        4.75 STARS

This book was recommended from someone on goodreads and I loved it, yeah it's got a kinda sarcastic view on everything but it just worked for me, I even bought the second book today cause my OCD was acting up and I had to know what happens with Adam & Peter.

Adam is a messed up vice cop that wakes up in the morgue a vampire and I mean seriously messed up. He does drugs steals from cops and screws just about anybody, the only thing good in his life is his best friend and fuck buddy Peter whose a homicide detective thats in love with Adam.

So not only does Adam realize what he's been like all this time, there's a big gang war, drugs running rampant and a vampire war going on which Adam seems to be right in the middle of, he also realizes he really loves Peter. This book was action packed, really hot sex and a pretty intense love story all wrapped up in one. To say I was surprised is funny cause this book is perfect for me. I liked the twists and turns that completely keep me on my toes. You need to read this book it's not always nice & can be a little smack in the face. but thats part of it's charm. I recommend this one Loved it.

River has no idea what he is going to do. The man hell-bent on using his mate's powerful magic for his own gain is only the tip of it. The threats coming through the hotel are becoming more frequent, but who or where the threats are coming from is impossible to figure out.

And where does a dead elf come into play

                                                                     4.25 STARS

This is the second book in this series and it's as good as the first, I will say the ending was my favorite part but then I just thought it was a cute twist. River is an enforcer for the light pack and he's sent on a mission with one of the beta's once they get there they both end up meeting there mates, Angel is River's mate and this is basically their story, thrown in some vamps and a psychotic Elf and you get one fast and fun story, I truly enjoyed it, plus the sex was off the charts HOT! I can't wait to get the third book in this series I'm recommending it. It's worth it.

Full Disclosure by Sean Michael

Full Disclosure

Samuel Cavanaugh never thought the hardest part about being a lawyer would be keeping an administrative assistant, but with Jeannie on pregnancy leave, he's gone through five since he became a partner. Yet his newest assistant is Jarrod Tinsley, an attractive man who just might fulfill all his fantasies, even the ones he didn't know he had.

Unbeknownst to Samuel, Jarrod has been hired by the law firm to investigate whether Samuel is "the leak," the person selling confidential information to the firm's opponents. Jarrod thinks it's going to be a run-of-the-mill job until he actually meets his sexy new boss, and then all bets are off. Samuel triggers in Jarrod every one of his Dom tendencies, and he knows instinctively exactly what Samuel needs to have all his fantasies fulfilled.

Can Samuel and Jarrod survive the investigation and their attraction to each other, or will their fragile relationship go tumbling down in pieces?

                                         4.25 STARS

I love the style that Sean Michael writes it more about the individual characters and yes the HOT sex but with enough of a storyline/plot to keep me invested. I liked this one alot I mean whats hotter that men in designer suits getting it on in the office, on the desk?

Jarrod is hired to investigate Samuel whose an attorney but needs a new assistant immediately so Jarrod works out well than he starts to fall for his boss. Though it's got a interesting twist with the boss-man being the submissive I liked it only problem too short, I'd like to have continued on with this couple they were fun.
I recommend this short read.

Spell Cat (The Aloysius Tales #1) by Tara Lain

Spell Cat
When Killian Barth, history professor, meets Blaine Genneau, quantum physicist, they ignite their own big bang. But sadly, Killian walks away. He doesn't do physics professors. In fact, he doesn't do humans, because Killian is the most powerful male witch in 10 generations and, though gay, he's expected to save his declining race by reproducing.

He can't even have sex with Blaine, because he's been taught that sex with humans depletes his power. But if that's true, why can young human, Jimmy Janx, dissolve spoons with a thought? Somebody's a lying witch.

With his powerful cat familiar, Aloysius, on his shoulder, Killian brings the lightning against deceit and greed to save Blaine from danger and prove love is the greatest power of them all.

                                                              5 STARS

I saw a review and have read a couple books by this author and Loved them, Ms. lain did not disappoint me with this one either. I loved this book, I laughed, I cried, and absolutely became engaged. So much so I can not wait for the next book, this one gave me exactly what I wanted to make this one of my favorite books this year.

Killian is a master witch whose a professor of witchcraft history, even though he's gay he is being forced into an arranged marriage. Now that's all where it starts to get funny, throw in another extremely hot Physics professor, a witch student and a witches familiar  cat Al and you get one fun, wild, sexy ride. I recommend this book because it is AWESOME.
