The Luckiest (Lucky Moon #2) by Piper Vaughn & M.J. O'Shea

The Luckiest (Lucky Moon, #2)
Rock star Nick Ventura has finally hit rock bottom. Jealous of his brother’s new love, he starts overindulging in his usual vices and winds up crashing his car into a department store in a drunken haze. Publicly humiliated and on the verge of jail time, he enters into a court-ordered rehabilitation program.

Nutritionist Luka Novak is flamboyant, effeminate, the type of gay man that bisexual Nick would normally sneer at. His sunny nature hides a deep hurt from a previous relationship. Luka knows he should be wary of Nick’s reputation, but he’s drawn to Nick despite himself. Their tentative friendship turns into romance, but Luka soon comes to realize that Nick's fear of losing his bad boy reputation means he'll probably never go public with their relationship.

Nick never thought he needed anyone, until Luka Novak came into his life. Now he has to reconcile his carefree past with the future he suddenly wants more than anything. And the first lesson he has to learn is how to become the man that both he and Luka need him to be, rather than stay the boy he always was. Alone.

                                                             4.75 STARS

I Loved this book, the storyline, the sex scenes, the drama and yeah I'm not one for drama, but this story was so intense that I actually cried a good amount of this book. Not cause it was overly dramatic or anything some of those tears were happy tears. It really is a beautiful love story, and one that's very believable too.

You got Nick rock star extraordinaire, whose on the literally high life trip. Then an accident ensues and he's sent to rehab, you get such an intense look into his life, that you can feel his pain, but you also wanna smack him up side the head A LOT. His love and insecurity over his brother who is the only constant in his life, gets married to a guy from their past and he becomes instantly jealous of his brother attention. So he ashes out by being party animal. While in rehab he meets Nutritionist Luka and he finds himself attracted.

Luka on the other hand does try to be the professional about his own attraction to Nick, but is also so drawn to wanting to help him too. Their relationship doesn't start for months after Nick gets out of rehab which i really liked cause it got rid of the creepy factor. But it's a definite uphill battle. The chemistry between the two MC's is really well written and I loved the secondary characters too. There were lots of times I wanted to shake Nick but eventually he gets his head outta his ass, which is a good thing. Shane & Jesse are awesome as backup, and I;m gonna go buy their story now cause this one is that damn good. I recommend this book you gotta read this one it's worth it and you will love it too.
