A Cold Winter's Day by Lynn Hagen (Brac Pack #25)

[Siren Everlasting Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, older hero, shape-shifters, HEA]
Malcolm Lakeland has watched most of his sons find their mates. He never thought a day would come when he would find one of his own. Leaving the rec center on a cold winter’s day, Malcolm hears a baby crying in the bed of his truck. When he also finds a half-frozen man, who happens to be his mate, Malcolm hurries them inside.
Luke is on the run. The leader of his tribe wants him dead and wants his son, Cole. Luke has no idea why Shanta is gunning for him, but he finds refuge in the arms of the largest bear he’s ever laid eyes on.
As the two discover their love for one another, the leader of the wood elves shimmers in and kidnaps Luke, leaving a devastated Malcolm to find him. Can Malcolm find Luke in time, or will the leader finally get his hands on Cole?
A Siren Erotic Romance
                                         5 STARS
Ok The Brac Pack series is on my top 5 of series. (I know I seem to have alot of favorites but if an author can entertain to the point that i can't wait to get their next book, then i'm gonna let someone else know!) Anyway so this book is about Malcolm Lakeland whose a dad of 7(yes 7)bear shifter sons, all grown of course but then he meets his mate when he finds him and his 5 month old son in the back of his truck. Luke who is a wood elf is running from his tribe leader who wants to steal Luke's son Cole, from him.
I really liked the way this story evolved and included some of my favorite characters from previous books. The drama worked well in this story and brought in new characters as well. The mate storyline worked well also, I liked the older lonely dad with the new younger dad story it was cute and sexy too. I'm gonna recommend this book but this series if you haven't read it you need to I have laughed, cried, sat on the edge of my seat, and so much more I love this series, I think you would too.
