Gabrielle Evans is one of those top authors that I pre-order all her books. I love her stories and series. So the Haven series is no different. although i think you should read the series first mainly because you get a better understanding of the characters as you go along. In Invinible you have Torren who is a big badass witch, head council member and has alot on his plate. You get a sense that he has too much on his plate, So he comes across as kinda an ass. Then you have Aslan who is the most adorable character, sweet,cute and sincere. He's also a witch but doesn't know it and he hears voices. Everyone thinks he's a little nuts but hes just hearing voices from the dead. So we get the story of these two knowing their mates and trying to figure out how to help each other. I liked this story, not only cuz you get such a great insight to the main characters but you also meet and get to know secondary ones, plus you get a revisit to previous characters. Definitely a recommend!
