A Werewolf's Soldier (Warwolves #1) by Kayley Scott

A Werewolf's Soldier (Warwolves, #1)
Sergeant Joshua Tanner has always been drawn to danger. After multiple tours of service, first in Iraq and now in Afghanistan, he has developed a reputation as one of the Army’s finest soldiers. But when his latest mission leaves him wounded behind enemy lines in the deadly Korengal Valley, his only chance for survival lies with a mysterious and sexy stranger.

On a top secret mission, the werewolf Tuck may have finally found the mate he has spent twelve years searching for. Josh is beautiful and fearless but completely unaware of the horrors that lurk in the dark places of the world. As a member of the US Military’s Warwolves unit, Tuck and his kind secretly hunt down the supernatural terrors that threaten humankind.

When an ancient monster rises in the forest, the hunter becomes the hunted. To save their lives, Tuck is forced to expose Josh to the beast hidden inside him and risk losing the love of his life.

                                                     4.5 STARS

I actually loved this story, I liked the whole military twist to the werewolf genre. It was also such a different and unique take on the whole mate storyline too. There were parts that were kinda gross but it's an action type book your gonna get blood & guts right? I got over it pretty quick and Damn the sex scenes are intense but HOT as hell....fans self...I'm looking forward to this series mainly for the different take on werewolves, the military, and it's such an interesting story that I didn't want to put it down.

I can't wait for the next one, even throwing the team in at the end so that we get a quick look at the future characters didn't feel rushed, it actually felt kinda smooth. I love the chemistry between Tuck & Josh and the struggle with two Alpha type military guys was not only Hot but exciting as well, I'm really looking forward to the next one this sounds like it's gonna be an awesome series. Ms. Scott you now have another fan. I recommend

  1. Just picked this up last week for kindle, read it in less than a day... total brain candy, and I'm almost ashamed to admit I ate the whole bag in one sitting ;-)

I loved it, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. Two big thumbs up for the author from me.
