Quent Jackson has
followed Jason Spade's every move in business and in poker since their
first day as college freshmen. Eight years later, when Jace finally
decides Quint is the one man he can't live without, he sees no reason
for that to change.
But as much as Jace believes that poker is
life, no one gave Quent the same playbook. After their first passionate
night, the real game of love and trust begins, and Jace has been playing
alone too long to make teaching the rules easy. Jace only speaks two
languages: one of them is sex, and the other one is poker. Between the
two, he needs to find a way to convince himself to take a chance on
love—and Quent to take a chance on him. It's a lucky thing they’re good
at reading the odds, because they’re playing for keeps, and this is one
high-stakes relationship that's definitely worth the gamble.
5 STARS
I honestly don't think I have ever read an Amy Lane book that I didn't absolutely love and want to read again & again. This one is Awesome only one thing I didn't cry nearly as much as usually when I read an Amy Lane, that was a good thing because Gambling Men was a fun exciting story with a serious love story involved.
The chemistry between Jace & Quent alone was intense, sexy as hell and fun, add in the whole coming out and starting a serious relationship and this book became one of my top favorites. It is very well written but then again if you have ever read an Amy Lane book you get that. I liked everything about this book even the secondary characters (although I was hoping for some others of the poker troup to have been closeted so we'd get another book but oh well.) they were great at bringing Jace & Trent's feelings and concerns to the fore front and helped them deal with them.
I highly recommend. This book rocks! and Damn the sex scenes holy shit I will never look at another poker table the same way LOL.
