Strong Alpha (Twin Pines Grizzlies #8) by Anitra Lynn McLeod
Running from his destiny…
One kiss was all it took for Kade Rogers to fall in love with his best friend, but convincing Aaron Ludden they belong together is going to be a lot harder, especially when Aaron refuses to talk about what happened during that kiss.
Aaron’s attraction to Kade is strong, but the kiss they shared the night of their high school graduation sparked terrifying visions. Aaron doesn’t understand why he saw them shifting into a bear, or why a future of loving Kade will lead to his own death. The powerful kiss drives Aaron to try to recreate that high without Kade through erotic asphyxiation. Aaron finds a man who indulges his kink, but he also puts Aaron’s life in jeopardy.
Kade can’t tolerate the bruises around Aaron’s neck anymore. Determined to save his best friend, Kade convinces Aaron to give him a chance to show him just how good they can be. When they come together, the results are more electrifying than anyone can imagine.
Now that their legacy with the Twin Pines Grizzlies is revealed, will the brotherhood be able to handle the changes this new pair brings?
I had read books 1-7 before they changed the name and really liked this series, so I decided to continue reading it when the new ones came out here's book 8, and i never once felt like I needed to catch up, it even gave me a short summary for the couples I really liked that.
Aaron having the life choked out of him literally, the bruises around his neck are proof. Only because he's afraid if he gives in to his real love Kade he will die as seen through some visions when the had their first kiss. Now he's on a trip for an away football game with his best friend Kade who truly loves Aaron, they are young so I really get their confusion and fears. Bring in my absolute favorite couple Derek & Brandon to set the sheets on fire and you get a really funny, romantic, different kind of story.
Eventually all the couples get brought into the story which answered some questions I had, and still left me wanting to read more.I really liked this one, the ending a little weird but I still recommend.
